WENDOVER MUSIC

A patron's scheme was started in the early part of the 2002 season. The generosity of the donations received will be used to help finance what we hope will be a particularly special concert. Patrons have been asked for guidance on the nature of the concert they would like best, and following their comments the Britten Sinfonia will perform in our June concert in the 2005 season. This is to be Wendover Music's second "patrons' concert"; the first patrons' concert was the English Camber Orchestra in May 2003.
PATRON'S SCHEME

One of the great joys of Wendover Music is the top ranking international artists we are able to invite to perform in our village church.

Aylesbury Leisure Services, local businesses and, above all, the frequent generosity of the Lord of the Manor, our anonymous donor and Wendover Community Trust have allowed us to supplement the ticket money and invite performers such as Julian Lloyd-Webber, Tasmin Little, Emma Johnson and important ensembles such as the City of London Sinfonia and the London Mozart Players.

A number of people who can not afford large sums of money have offered to give us smaller gifts which they would like us to use towards funding top class artists for whom we aim.

Your committee is encouraged by this idea and would gladly acknowledge any gifts from the "Patrons" and, if agreeable, recover the tax which such gifts might entitle us to do.

Thank you.
